I wanted to go for a Vaporwave aesthetic with this piece, and also prepare it for a short animation as I went along. The animation will be in a separate post. I wanted the feeling of a large open, somewhat surreal landscape and an interesting sky so I experimented a lot with different looks. Visible stars were of course a must.Â

A more classic red. I abandoned this for a less predictable look and a more interesting color combination.
